As one way of promoting the savings culture in the country, Finca Malawi, has introduced its savings products to its customers in the Northern Region.
This follows the acquisition of a deposit taking licence from the Reserve Bank of Malawi early this year.
Finca Marketing Manager, Samson Mwalungila, said his firm is now a comprehensive, financial service provider that protects and accumulates the wealth of customers including economically disadvantaged populations hence offering best-ever savings products in Malawi.
The savings products include, Finca Saver Account which is an ordinary savings account offering higher interest rates and Finca Fixed Account both accessible to individual, group, club and companies.
Mwalungila said the products are now available at Finca’s Karonga, Katoto and Mzimba branches.
To date, Finca is providing savings, loans, security and convenience to people through tailor-made products and services delivered at door-step to clients equally operating far from its branches.
Since 1994, Finca has been one of the integral and important part of the financial market contributing to inducement of investment and economic growth in Malawi through its customer-centred products and services.
Building on customer trust stimulated over the years, currently Finca is operating 23 branches across the country serving all kinds of customers.
“This is guaranteed on principles of responsible banking to ensure greater customer experience of the product offering,” said Mwalungila.
