Malawi National Football Team Captain Limbikani Mzava and midfielder Taonga Chimodzi gave motivation talk to children under Mpira Mudzi Mwathu at Lilongwe Golf Club on Saturday.
Mzava, who had a good season with DStv Premiership side Amazulu FC, and Chimodzi, who plays for Karmiotissa in Cyprus, interacted with the youngsters and also signed autographs.
Mzava said it was an exciting moment to interact with the kids.
“It feels great to inspire the kids and I enjoyed the session. I believe the kids also enjoyed the moment with us,” said Mzava, who helped Malawi qualify for Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals to be staged in Cameroon next year.
On his part, Chimodzi said it was an honour interacting with the kids.
“It was a wonderful experience for me. The kids were eager to learn and I believe the kids will realise their dream,” Chimodzi, who is Malawi’s longest serving player in Europe, said.
