The Neurosurgery High Dependency Unit at Malawi’s main referal hospital QUEEN Elizabeth Central Hospital now has air conditioners, thanks to a donation from First Merchant Bank (FMB).

FMB on Tuesday handed over three new air conditioners worth K3 million to provide relief to patients in the ward who face difficulties in an environment of high temperature.

FMB head of marketing, Sylvia Mataka, said the donation is aimed at improving comfortability of the patients in the ward especially considering the fact that the majority of the patients are children.
