G4S shines at World Post Day celebrations
G4S Company was crowned the top courier operator at this year’s World Post Day celebrations held at Euthini in Mzimba.
Apart from showcasing its services at Euthini just like other courier operators, the company organised a vehicle parade in Mzuzu City covering a distance of about 20 kilometres up to Ekwendeni Trading Centre.
“We are excited to be part of the post day celebrations. We organized a vehicle parade where our courier vehicles moved from Mzuzi City to Ekwendeni Trading Centre. You may wish to know that G4S is the country’s market leader in the courier industry with 37 percent of market share in 2013 and this year 45 percent,” said G4S National Account Manager Alfred Chitulu.
Chitulu said as a market leader, his company has 34 courier outlets from across the country with highly skilled personnel and that its regional offices run for 24 hours. He added that the company also has automated system that tracks mail.

During the celebrations, postal and courier operators donated hospital equipment worth over K6 million to Euthini Rural Hospital.
