Galaxy masks Faith Mussa ahead of Up-close show

Galaxy Pharmaceutical Limited have come out to provide facemasks to musician Faith Mussa ahead of his Upclose N Personal: The VIP Experience at Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe.
Galaxy will give out free boxes (50 pieces) of facemasks to everyone patronising the concert in the fight against Covid.
The musician’s manager Samuel Chiwaka said Wednesday they were happy with the gesture by Galaxy.
“This support has come at the right time as we are battling Covid. The government relaxed the measures recently but we still have to adhere to these measures if we are to fight the pandemic. So, apart from providing the box of facemasks, we will also have mandatory temperature checks upon entry,” Chiwaka said.
He said this will be a Covid compliance concert in that they have also reduced numbers of people attending the show.
“The future of Faith Mussa’s missed shows is here. This Saturday, the audience will experience Faith Mussa and Mdidi Band live in action after two years of not performing together,” Chiwaka said.
Apart from Faith, as the headliner, some of the acts set to perform at the show include Q Malewezi and Desire Manda.
“People should embrace the future of Faith Mussa concert as this is the beginning. We are doing away with big arena concerts for small, intimate and interactive concerts that will be giving value for money to our partners,” Chiwaka said.
Faith, famed for songs such as ‘Mdidi’ and ‘Desperate’, Wednesday said he was ready for the show.
“I am ready and can’t wait to jump on stage and offer new things,” Faith said.
