George Nyirenda mum on Namibia links
Discarded Nyasa Big Bullets’ defender, George Nyirenda, has been linked with a move to Namibian Premier League side, Tigers Sports Club.
However, reports suggest that the league in Namibia was suspended last year.
But Nyirenda, who has also been linked with Be Forward Wanderers and Silver Strikers, said he would determine his next destination upon receipt of an official letter from Bullets.
“Thereafter, I will come out in the open to say where I will be going. So, for now let us see what happens next,” he said.
Nyirenda was released for good alongside Jimmy Zakazaka, Cuthbert Sineta, Bernard Chimaimba, Silva Chawe whereas Ian Chinyama, McFarlen Mgwira, Ian Chinyama and Andy Kamlete have been put on the market for loan spells.
Latest reports also suggest Bullets will not release defender Maneno Nyoni.
Other reports suggest that winger Ernest Petro and striker Dave Banda have been sent to the reserve side.
The defender rejoined Bullets from Zimbabwe’s Caps United in 2015.
Bullets might also lose defenders Emmanuel Zoya and Miracle Gabeya, who are trying their luck with Red Arrows of Zambia and South Africa’s Highlands Park.
