Gibwa relishes stage with top acts

In an effort aimed at pushing his music, up-and-coming artist Gibwa has said he wants to work with more established acts as well as share the stage with them.

The Lilongwe-based reggae, afro-pop and dancehall musician also said he wanted to perfect his craft so as to attract top artists’ attention.

Gibwa has already made strides as he has so far shared the stage with Black Missionaries and Anthony Makondetsa, Lucius Banda, Patience Namadingo, Tay Grin, Piksy and Skeffa Chimoto.

“At the moment, I am looking for sponsors and, so, working with established artists is something which can help me attract them,” Gibwa said.

Real name Gift Chilumbu, Gibwa, who has an Extended Playlist (EP) to his credit ventured into music in 2018.
