“Chileka is a quiet and most secured place for entertainment as it is away from town. This is why as Catering Solutions we decided to come up with this show to give fun to fun lovers in Blantyre and surrounding areas,” said Nkhonjera.

She said the show is different as it has two components in nature.

“The show carries live music performances which are top of the range, then we also have disco. We will also have soccer on the day for those who love football,” said Nkhonjera.

She revealed that after a longtime and people will have a chance to watch live performances from Giddes, Lucky Stars.

“In addition we also have Dan Lufani and Nyasa Queens on the day so we call upon people to come in large numbers and experience the best. This will also be the time for people to sample food prepared artistically by Catering Solutions,” said Nkhonjera.

She said the disco is being sponsored by their partners Carlsberg Malawi and that their favourite DJ will be on song dishing out different songs on the decks.

Apart from enjoying music vibes, Nkhonjera said soccer lovers will also have time to watch an FA Cup final between Arsenal and Aston Villa live on DStv on a big screen.

He said they have dubbed it Kuchekuche Moonlight show because the event which starts in the afternoon will go all the way into the night.

“The charges are also fair because people will only pay K500 on entry for a show which starts at 2pm until late. This is a show for all fun lovers and sports lovers,” she said, adding that there will also be traditional dances around the bonfire.
