Gift of interpretation of tongues

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another diverse kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 1 Corinthians 12:8-10 KJV

The Holy Spirit gives to another the gift of interpretation of tongues. This has also been misrepresented at times.

The gift of interpretation of tongues comes to you from the Lord Himself. When you hear tongues being spoken, you start hearing the real words of your language but not word for word. You hear a general truth of what God is communicating. Otherwise, word for word would make tongues cease to be a mysterious language.

Sometimes, the interpretation would come to you as a thought of what you pray by yourself.

You can also ask God directly to give you the interpretation of tongues as you pray longer.

Therefore, let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret. I Corinthians 14:13 NKJV

In this regard, you reach a point of hearing in your mind what God is saying as you pray in other tongues.

Sometimes, you hear yourself speaking audibly a word as you pray in tongues repeatedly while speaking directly to God in Heaven as you speak in tongues longer.

For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding]. 1 Corinthians 14:2 AMPC

Now, if speaking in tongues is speaking directly to God from the earth here, God has to find a common way of speaking back to you. It can’t be true that you only speak to the Loving God without Him responding to you. God speaks back to you. Yes and He speaks differently from time to time in different individuals.

Now how does God speak to you as you pray in tongues?

Here are some ways God speaks to you from time to time as you pray in tongues. Sometimes, this happens as you pray in tongues longer enough or even as the Lord God chooses to speak to you.

You don’t dictate to God how He should speak to you but allow God to speak to you the way He chooses. Remember, He is looking after 7.8 billion people on earth, billions of people in hell fire and billions of saints in Heaven on top of all angels in heaven and all demons in hell fire and those who do havoc to the earth. God follows every event on earth.

But if you understand, this is how God speaks to people on earth:

1. Dream that is repeated;
2. Joy peace or like velvet feeling;
3. Tears rolling down your face;
4. Constant thought or imagination;
5. Clear audible voice;
6. Breaking into a sweet song;
7. Angelic visitation;
8. Pain in the soul or heart;
9. Wind blowing against you;
10. Weakness and or laziness in doing what you want to do or going where you want to go;
11. Abrupt memory of a biblical verse;
12. Feeling disgusted or boring;
13. Nagging or shaking you for prayer;
14. Very powerful present anointing charging your body before the sick or prayer for something;
15. Feeling very weak or bitter before prayer;
16. Sleepless night;

Always God chooses the way He wants to speak to you as He likes.

Otherwise, you lose out if you insist on your own way.
