One of the country’s internet service providers, Globe Internet, has expanded the reach of its fourth generation (4G) internet services to Salima and Mangochi.

Globe Internet Chief Commercial Officer, Elias Imaan, said the move was in reaction to requests from customers for affordable, high speed and quality internet service to enable day-to-day business or home operations requiring connectivity.

“We have had numerous enquiries from customers in these districts and many others, especially small medium enterprises (SMEs); non-governmental organisations with offices in peri-urban and rural markets; enterprises with branches outside the cities and residential customers looking for our popular and affordable internet packages on 4G.

“As customer first is one of our values, we have just done that. People of Mangochi and Salima can now enjoy our robust internet services at affordable prices,” Imaan said.

He said, currently, our Globe Internet sales representatives are visiting these areas everyday as the firm is working on own service centres that will be opening soon to offer sales and customer support.

“Globe will replicate its portfolio of popular 4G packages—Freedom, Freedom Plus, Voom and Loyalty—in these areas, including an introductory package of 8GB for K10,000, the best deal on the market valid for one month and many more.

“Plans are underway to roll out similar services in Kasungu, Karonga and Mulanje very soon,” Imaan said.
