Mzuzu based gospel singer Gloria Hope Fatch has revealed that she is working on a new album having been silent for some time.

The musician said she has put together several songs and that she would be going to the studio in August.

“I have composed a number of songs but I didn’t want to rush because you end up flopping. People expect good songs with good lyrical content so that is what I have been concentrating on,” said Fatch.

The musician, whose music career came to the limelight in 2007, said she has been out of the picture for the past months because she was sick.

“Due to sickness I have been inactive for the past years but I will soon come back. Some people felt I have stopped music having recently taken up a position in women football administration.

“I am grateful to friends, neighbours and fellow artists for the support rendered during the time of my sickness. God is always faithful so people should watch out for my next album,” she said.
