Gospel singer Grace Chinga dead
Renowned gospel singer Grace Chinga died on Wednesday night after a short illness.
The songstress, who had complained for headache and later fainted, was pronounced dead on arrival at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre.
The singer famed for the hit ‘Thandizo Langa,’ which was voted the Best Song during the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) Entertainers of the Year will be buried on Saturday afternoon at HHI
Cemetery in Blantyre.
According to veteran musician Wycliffe Chimwendo, the remains of Chinga, will on Friday be taken from College of Medicine at 3pm to her Full Gospel Church in Chilobwe and that vigil will be at her mother’s
house at Malingamoyo in Chimwankhunda.

Chinga was born on June 28, 1978. She hailed from Leza Village, Traditional Authority Makhuwira in Chikwawa. She is survived by three children.
