Great Angels pulls huge audience in Lilongwe launch
Great Angels Choir on Christmas Day performed at Sheaffer Square Gardens in Lilongwe launching their DVD titled Mwasankha Ine.
The group first launched the DVD at BAT ground in Blantyre early this month. The launch just like in Blantyre pulled a gigantic audience. The group’s Music Director Ephraim Zonda said they were thankful once again for people’s support saying this continues to motivate them to do more.
Prophet Justice Hara was the highest bidder during the launch as he bought the DVD at K2 million followed by musician and Member of Parliament Allan Ngumuya, who got the DVD at K50,000.
According to Zonda, heavy rains came soon after they finished performing which forced other artists not to perform and these included Billy Kaunda, Grace Chinga and Mlaka Maliro. The group took the launch to Gymkhana Club in Zomba on Saturday and then Mlambe Motel in Balaka yesterday.
They will wind up the launch at Mzuzu Boma Park on January 1. In the picture Great Angels performing during the launch.
