Griffin Saenda Junior studying fitness

Malawi national netball team and Kukoma Diamonds physical fitness trainer, Griffin Saenda Junior, has cleared the mist surrounding his absence.
Saenda was reportedly to have travelled to three countries; Italy, England and France some months ago.
However, the Griffin Young Stars owner said he travelled to France before relocating to Ireland where he is studying strength and conditioning at Evolution Fitness Institute in Balbriggan, Dublin.
“This course is ideal because it will empower me with modern knowledge on how to prepare athletes in a professional way. It is a year-long diploma course,” he said.
Saenda jnr, who once turned down Flames under-17 role by opting for the Queens, is planning to return once the course ends.
“In the meantime I am also doing some part time jobs,” he said.
Saenda jnr said his developmental side- Griffin Young Stars- was being managed by Ronald Kandulu.
“He has been there and he knows the project so the team will continue under Kandulu’s guidance,” he said.
Meanwhile, Diamonds chairperson, Lumbani Mtonyo, said they believe Saenda jnr, will transform the team on his return.
“Currently he shares some of the stuff through online lessons. We know he will change the side for the better,” she said.
