South Africa-based musician Duncan Zgambo, popularly known as Gwamba, said Thursday that he will release his new album in 2021.
The artist has been on the move releasing singles with the latest being ‘Yaz Abantu’ featuring South African singer and songwriter Mlindo the Vocalist. The song drops today.
The new song has been produced under Major 1 Records by BFB.
“This is just a single but I am trying as much as possible to push my brand outside Malawi now hence collaborating with a number of artists from outside,” Gwamba said.
Gwamba, who is also spearheading the Malawi Hip Hop Awards to be held on November 28 2020, described the new song as powerful as regards the message.
“Music is my life. Music changed my life and music gave me deals that has made me travel to different countries and so, I cannot survive without music. he said.
Recently Gwamba also dropped a new song titled ‘Own Time’ which he collaborated with South African rapper Emtee. The song was produced by DJ Meg and BFB.
Gwamba in March this year postponed the launch of his album – Mama Said God First due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Faith Mussa is also said to release a single titled ‘Waiting’ today.
