Hassan Kajoke hopes for second chance

Nyasa Big Bullets striker Hassan Kajoke believes his form is enough to convince Flames’ coach Meck Mwase to give him a second chance.
The striker was suspended from the Flames for sneaking out of training camp at Mpira Village in March this year.
Kajoke missed two matches in the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers against South Sudan in Khartoum and Uganda in Blantyre on March 24 and 29, respectively.
However, the striker is enjoying a rich vein of form at his club and scored a hat-trick as Bullets thrashed Ntopwa 3-0 at Kamuzu Stadium on Wednesday to move top of the log table with 42 points from 20 matches, two above second-placed Silver Strikers.
The former Mitra Icons striker said he was ready for Flames if given a second chance.
“I want to help my club defend the league title. One day I believe I will play again for the Flames because it is always good to play for your national team,” Kajoke said.
Mwase was reluctant to comment on the matter but said he would discuss the issue with his backroom staff.
The Bullets forward has scored 10 goals in the TNM Super League this season, two goals behind leading top goal-scorer Maxwell Gasten Phodo of Silver, who has 12.
The Flames were expected to regroup next week to start preparing for Cosafa Cup slated for July 7 to 18 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
