One of Heaven Ambassadors Kids member Peace Phiri continues to make strides in her solo music projects as she is now moving towards releasing her own album.
As one of the lead vocalists in Heaven Ambassadors Kids, the artist has so far managed to stitch three singles with the latest being ‘Wabadwa’ dedicated to Christmas and the festive season.
“I am moving in the right direction for now but it is one step at a time. The support I have received from people is overwhelming and it keeps on motivating me to produce more music,” Phiri said.
She said she decided to come up with ‘Wabadwa’ as a Christmas gift to the people during this festive season.
“I know there are several songs that people listen to during Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. I just thought I should add to that and bring in my song. I enjoyed doing it and I hope it will preach to people out there,” the youthful artist said.
Her mother Racheal Kandungo Phiri said her daughter amazes her and that she was thankful to God for her talent.
“I don’t know how she does it but she composes own songs and now she is pushing to have an album. She is part of Heaven Ambassadors but she just thought of trying doing it solo as well,” she said.
Apart from ‘Wabadwa’, Phiri’s other songs are ‘Bwera Kwa Yesu’ and ‘No’ (Usachotse Moyo), a track that she crafted following a rise in suicide cases in the country.
