Lilongwe-based gospel music group–Heaven Ambassadors kids will celebrate Mothers’ Day in style by launching their third album titled Ndayalula.
The group said they took advantage of Mothers’ Day to celebrate with mothers and offer them a special gift of their third project.
Heaven Ambassadors kids is a family group that is made up of Praise, Patience, Peace and Rachael Phiri.
The group will launch the album on Friday at Zambezi Open Theatre in Kawale, Lilongwe.
Praise said, apart from celebrating motherly love, they were also set to treat people to gospel music.
“This is a double celebration; we are celebrating launching a new album and at the same time celebrating with mothers. Mothers played a huge role in raising us to where we are today,” Praise said.
Peace said people should take time to sample the album.
“We hope people will love the songs just like we have loved putting them together. There are powerful messages in the album,” Peace said.
The album has eight songs include ‘Korona’, ‘Usakhale Opusa’, ‘He is Mighty’, ‘Viva Jesu’ and ‘Chipambano’.
During the event, the group is expected to share the stage with other musicians including Shammah Vocals, Kamuzu Barracks Gospel Singers, Marvelous Deeds, Clara Ngulube, Maureen Kanyenda, Chinsapo Sweet Melodies and Chiyanjano Women Choir.
One of the organisers of the show Maxwell Olloto of Max Promotions said all is set for the event and that people should brace for the best.
Heaven Ambassadors Kids started in 2013 and some of its previous albums include Kulira Kwatha Volume One and Kulira Kwatha Volume Two.
