Huge audience at street party

The Central Business District in Blantyre got busier on Sunday as it hosted a street party hosted by First Capital Bank (FCB) and FCB Nyasa Bullets FC powered by Entertainers Promotions.
The bash, held on Chilembwe Road adjacent to Livingstone Towers, went all the way to the night, with reggae group Black Missionaries closing the curtain on the main stage.
Initially, it was indicated that the bash would end in good time but it was extended to the night to give people more time for fun and what more with FCB Nyasa Bullets’ walloping Mafco at Kamuzu Stadium in the TNM Super League in the afternoon.
FCB Head of Marketing and Communication Twikale Chirwa said that they were satisfied with the performances and the turnout.
“We managed to reach out to the people with our products and we are looking forward to more of such moments,” Chirwa said.
Entertainers Promotions Director Tonderai Banda hailed FCB and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets for partnering them to hold a street bash which they last held in 2017.
“It’s been a success and we are looking forward to more street parties. Through this street party, people had fun and we also managed to create employment. We just want to call upon other companies out there to offer support to such events,” he said.
Apart from Blacks, some of the artists that starred at the street party included Eli Njuchi, Zeze Kingstone, DJs Gene and Zulu and Mellz.
