I am still active in music, says Onesimus
Forgotten South Africa-based musician Onesimus has said he is still active in music despite being quiet for some time.
The artist who early this year announced that he will be on a Southern African tour said his silence does not mean that he has stopped music but rather he is taking his time.
He said that the tour which was expected to start in June was put on hold due to other problems.
“I am still there and people should just watch the space. Actually I have a new single on the ground titled ‘Something About You.’ This is my last single and now the album will come out,” said Onesimus.
He said people should look forward to an album which he will release in November.
“So far I have four singles but now I am ready to drop an album titled Epikaizo Volume 2. I am actually continuing the journey that my father Prophet Shephered Bushiri started. He released Epikaizo Volume 2,” said the youthful musician, who was in secular before turning gospel.
He said after the album he will then go on a tour.
“I am still preparing myself in gospel music and after this project it’s when I am going to start doing shows,” said Onesimus revealing that his new single was released on October 16.
Onesimus released another single in February titled ‘Get Better.’
Onesimus, formerly known as Armstrong, also released singles in November and December 2014.
The artist born Sopani Armstrong Kalua, came to the limelight whilst in secular releasing songs such as ‘Sinditha Kumvetsa,’ and also worked with several artists including Zambia’s Dalisoul.
