I can do better —Zicco Mkanda
By Mabvuto Kambuwe:

Be Forward Wanderers leading striker Zicco Mkanda believes he has the energy to keep on scoring goals for the Fisd Challenge Cup kings next season.
Mkanda netted a brace as Wanderers won the cup after beating Silver Strikers 3-2 at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe last weekend.
The former Escom United goal-poacher said he was happy to have re-discovered his scoring form.
“It was not easy for me in the first two months at Wanderers because the fans were expecting a lot from me.
“But I am happy that I have finished the season strongly. I hope to deliver the goods again next season. It will be better if we win the league next season and defend the Fisd Cup,” Mkanda said.

When asked if he still has ambitions of playing for Malawi national football team, Mkanda was elusive.
“If I am performing well for my club, then I can also do it for my country,” he said.
He was part of the Flames squad that won the Cosafa Plate Section in South Africa in 2015.
Football analyst Hellings Mwakasungula heaped praises on Mkanda.
“Zicco is a quality player and he has proved his worth this season,” Mwakasungula said.
Mkanda is Wanderers’ leading goal scorer this season in all competitions, having scored 21 goals, including 11 in the TNM Super League and seven in Fisd Cup.
For winning the Fisd Golden Boot, Mkanda will pocket K200,000.
