Blantyre-based boxer Limbani Masamba beat Ernest Msoliza in an eight-round non-title bout, but it was Yasin ‘Ichocho’ Suwedi who was the toast of the day at Lilongwe Community Centre Ground on Monday.
Ichocho mesmerized boxing fans with his freestyle bodybuilding displays and he gave out his best as he spiced up the boxing contest.
As Ichocho was leaving the stage, the fans wanted the Mr Malawi body building championship third-place holder to continue with his displays.
He did not disappoint the huge crowd and he continued to display his skills outside the ring much to the delight of the fans.
In an interview soon after his body building skills, Ichocho promised Lilongwe fans that he was ready to return to the city to give his best.
“I know people enjoy watching my displays and they want to see my body. I promise I will be giving them my best all the time” said Suwedi.
In the eight round non-title bout, Masamba won against Msoliza in unanimous decision.
In the main supporting bout, Salimu Chazama restored his pride when he knocked out Acklas Mchombo in round number five.
Chazama was recently knocked out in round number one during international bout in Zambia.
Superior Boxing Promotions director Japhet Majekete was impressed with the large turnout of fans promising to organise more high profiles bouts through his firm.
