In-house Media ropes in Lay B Salima

Blantyre-based music company, In-house Media, has signed one of the promising budding afro RnB artists Lay B Salima.
The company’s Talent and Production Manager Martin Anjelz Mumba said Thursday that the artist’s uniqueness especially in his vocals, among others, played a vital role in their signing the up-and-coming musician.
Anjelz, who is a renowned music producer, backed the new lad to excel, saying at the age where he [Lay B Salima] is, he has all the time to explore and experiment while, on the other hand, adapting to the new trends which will make his brand authentic and unique.
“Well, he is a unique artist whose vocal prowess is just incredible and not to mention about his lyrical approach,” he said.
Anjelz congratulated the artist and further encouraged him to keep composing songs and make it a habit.
Lay B Salima hailed In-house Media for the opportunity to grow his music under their banner.
He said he was looking forward to achieve great things with In-house Media.
“I am excited with this move and it has come at the right time. This will help me to expand my base and grow musically because on my own there were so many things I could not access,” the musician, who is based in Salima, said.
Inspired by artists such as Dan Lu, Lay B Salima has released a number of songs and plans to drop an Extended Playlist (EP) soon.
