Israel ‘Man Machine’ Kammwamba is set to put his lightweight belt on the line when he faces off with Osgood ‘The Hardhitter’ Kayuni at M1 Centre Point in Lilongwe tomorrow.
Ngwenyama Boxing Promotions Director, Patrick Ngwenyama, said preparations for the fight had been concluded and that the two fighters were itching to dish out the best.
Ngwenyama said boxing lovers should expect fireworks as Kammwamba and Kayuni are two of the country’s best pugilists.
“Both boxers are in great shape and are determined to fight for the title. They have undergone thorough preparations for this fight. We have also done our best to ensure that everything goes according to plan,” he said.
The day’s main supporting bout will be between Hannock ‘Hardknocker’ Phiri and Limbani Chikapa.
In other bouts, Yohane Banda will take on Yamikani Mkandawire while Robert Kachiza will trade punches with Henry Kapeni.
There will also be a female boxers’ bout between Loveness Kokha and Agness Lewis.
