Izeki getting better
Comedian Izeki real name John Nyanga of the Izeki and Jakobo fame said on Wednesday he is still recovering and that he is getting better.
Speaking in a telephone interview from his home in Ndirande, Blantyre, Izeki said he was thankful to the people for their prayers and support.
“I am not hundred percent fit but I am getting better compared to the time you came to see me at the hospital,” said Izeki.
The actor was last year admitted at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre.
“God is good all the time. He has been with me throughout and he continues to look after me. I stayed for a longtime in hospital and I would like to thank the medical personnel for their care,” said the comedian.
Izeki, who has entertained Malawians for years with his colleague Jakobo real name Eric Mabedi, also said he is still in need of financial support.
“I greatly need support from wellwishers. I would like to thank those who have come up, people like Michael Usi and Eric Mabedi, they have been very supportive,” said Izeki.
He said he has been there for Malawians entertaining them for years with his colleague Jakobo and called upon well-wishers, Non-Governmental Organisations the government and companies to support him.
Izeki has in the past years also starred with Kwathu Drama Group before he later quit to concentrate on preaching the word of God.
