Controversial attacker Jaffali Chande might become the third player to leave Be Forward Wanderers in this transfer window—if what the Nomads website has posted is anything to go by.
The website reports that Chande was on his way out of the team, joining Yamikani Chester and Joseph Kamwendo who have clinched deals in Czech Republic and South Africa, respectively.
“We are trying to beef up our squad because all we want is to win the league and all cups this season,” Wanderers Team Manager, Steve Madeira, is quoted as saying.
Wanderers confirmed the departure of the former Nyasa Big Bullets attacker (Chande) when announcing the signing of Nigerian Babatunde Adepoju from Masters Security on a free transfer last week.
Chande rarely played in the just-ended season due to on-and-off the field disciplinary issues but helped Wanderers to win the 2017 TNM Super League and Fisd Challenge Cup plus other bonanzas.
Meanwhile, Babatunde has been handed jersey number 33 at Wanderers.
