Jakobo, Winiko storm Nkolokosa Assemblies of God
What started off as a normal Sunday church service at Nkolokosa Assemblies of God in Blantyre ended up being a comedy show when all of a sudden the convener invited two guests, Winiko and Jakobo, to the pulpit.
Winiko, clad in a white suit and long white heels, and Jakobo, who dressed as a security guard, cracked the ribs of the congregation while driving a point home.
It was the first time for the church to engage well-known comedians to disseminate information on a project, titled ‘Bus Yanga Promotion’, the church is undertaking.
The church is trying to raise funds to buy a bus that will be picking people from all parts of Blantyre to church as well as help in various church projects.
In his speech after the performance, Bishop Andrew Dube commended the comedians for a job well done.
“I’m sure you would want the two to come back sometime. They have driven the point home. It is up to the members to do the needful,” he said
