For this reason, the Japanese government through the Japan Foundation presented to Times Group a Television Drama titled ‘Carnation’

“Th is Drama has 151 episodes and it has been broadcast in 31 countries including Zambia and Kenya. I hope Malawians will enjoy the programme and appreciate the Japanese culture. This is a story about a woman who made it in fashion design in Japan during the time that it was so hard for women to do business. The story will inspire women and girls not to look down upon themselves,” Yanagisawa said.

The Japanese Ambassador also brought an educational documentary called ‘Science Zero.’

The relationship between Japan and Malawi has enabled the Japaneses Government send to Malawi 1,700 volunteers who are working in health, agriculture, education and other sectors.
