Banda underwent trials at Cosmos early this month and results were expected to be released this week.
However, it has transpired that the former Eagles Strikers midfielder was successful in South Africa, but would join Cosmos in the next transfer window in July.
Cosmos local representative, Ben Chiwaya, on Monday insisted that results of Banda’s trials would be released soon.
Eagles chairperson, Richard Luhanga, on Wednesday said Cosmos were yet to release the outcome of the trials.
The Daily Times has discovered that Cosmos are interested in signing a goalkeeper during this transfer window.
Banda, who is a police officer, was also linked with a move to Mozambican club, Costa do Sol last year but the deal flopped after Eagles refused to release him on loan.
The midfielder is one of the Flames most consistent players and has eight goals in 40 games.
If he clinches the deal in the next transfer window, Banda would join former Eagles team mate, Micium Mhone, who signed for the club last year.
