Joseph Alfazema back from Dubai

Musician Joseph Alfazema has said he is still active in music and that he will soon produce new songs.
The artist famed for the hit ‘Tilibe Chonena’ has been out of the limelight for a while.
Alfazema returned home recently from Dubai having left in 2015 for greener pastures.
“I am back having been out of the country for some time and it is time to offer people new songs. For now, I have come home but there is a possibility of going to New Zealand but, if it fails, then I will go back to Dubai after six months,” Alfazema said Wednesday.
He added that the long break has also given him enough time to monitor the industry.
“Things are not the same as they used to be in the past years so there is need to tread carefully. Again, piracy is rampant so you need to look at all those things but I will be out soon and I am planning to put up some shows,” Alfazema said.
He said despite being involved in more work which kept him busy, he also had time to sample some of the performances there.
“I am more exposed in terms of experience and so the return will be massive. For now, I want to patronise some shows and observe,” Alfazema said.
The 37-year old musician, said during his stay in Dubai, he has also managed to upgrade himself, attaining tertiary education in safety and security.
“I am thankful to God for this opportunity. There is progress and on top of that I also managed to raise some money,” Alfazema said.
Popularly known as Doctor in the music circles, Alfazema has four albums to his credit namely Tilibe Chonena, Mutchuke Ndinu, Abiniladeni and Ndalama ikalankhula.
He started serious music in 2000 when he was in Form Four.
Another artist who is in Dubai is Dunstan Kapitapita.
