Joyce Banda special guest speaker at elite continental forum

Former president Joyce Banda is in Liberia, where she is a special guest-of-honour speaker among the continent’s elite at the International Sheroes Forum.
The forum is a knowledge-sharing and networking event that brings together female leaders who have registered achievements
The forum meeting, to be held under the theme ‘Advancing Women’s Participation in Leadership’, was formed to ensure action and spark innovative ideas to help drive gender equality in society.
President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, Liberian President George Weah and former president Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf as well as former Zimbabwe vice president Joyce Mujuru are among those who will speak.
The Ghanaian president is, like Banda, also a special guest of honour while Weah will make a keynote speech.
Sheroes partnered the Joyce Banda Foundation three years ago to push for gender equality among other causes.
