Ka Jive Dance contest eviction invades Blantyre
With six contestants evicted in the Ka Jive Dance competition in Lilongwe, the eviction show storms Blantyre where 22 contestants will battle it out.
The eviction show to be spiced up by Piksy will be held at Al Pacinos’s Club 360 tomorrow.
Timescom Business Manager Heggar Kalowekamo said yesterday that all is set for the eviction show in Blantyre and called on people to come in large numbers.
“We have 22 contestants battling it out in Blantyre so it will all be a splendid day. It’s a platform where contestants will show their dance moves and so if you love dancing then come and see the contestants dancing,” said Kalowekamo.
Last year the competition was only held in Blantyre but this time around it was been extended to Lilongwe.
Last year the winners Metics Dance Crew walked away with K1 million but this year the winners will pocket K1.5 million.
Airtel Malawi has this year partnered the organisers of the event Times Group through Times Television pumping in a sponsorship of K4 million.
The mobile company said during a cheque presentation in Lilongwe that the sponsorship was one way of promoting talent.
Airtel Malawi has also said that they want more people to be part of the dance competition hence they will be giving out different prizes during the shows including smart phones.
The event will start at 12pm through to 5pm and people will pay K1,000 for standard tickets and K2,000 VIP.
Kalowekamo has since hailed Airtel Malawi for the give-aways and called on people to participate through paying using Airtel Money, a payment mode he said is convenient to the public in terms of buying tickets for the shows.
