Ka Jive winners get their prizes

Times Group Wednesday afternoon handed over cash prizes to Ka Jive Season 4 winners
The winners, Soweto Boys, received K1 million in cash from Times Group Marketing Manager Lusayo Msukwa, who also delivered K400,000 to Luchenza Amazing Dance Crew, who came second in the grand finale of the competition last Saturday.
Msukwa said this shows the impact of the competition on the lives of young people in the country.
“Ka Jive, as a dance show, has given back a lot to the youth. We take this as one way of giving back to the community. We know that young people are struggling with unemployment and, so, we see Ka Jive as a platform where young people can build careers and gain money from their talents. Young dancers also get to develop their skills through the show,” he said.
Soweto Boys dancer Carlos Mapira said Ka Jive gave different dancers in the country the opportunity to use their talents productively.
