Nyasa Big Bullets Coach Kalisto Pasuwa has taken advantage of the two-week TNM Super League break to attend an electronic performance and tracking systems programme workshop in Harare, Zimbabwe.

The workshop, which ended Thursday, was conducted by Major Sports Consultancy Africa.

According to Zim Sports Connect, the workshop was conducted by Nyasha Charandura, who is a sports scientist for Zimbabwe National Football Team and Tanzanian top side Azam FC.

Pasuwa, who is gunning for his fourth straight TNM Super League title, travelled with assistant fitness trainer Fischer Kondowe, fitness trainer Majaha Ndhlovu and Michael Ngore, who is a performance analyst.

Bullets Chief Administrator Albert Chigoga said they sponsored the trip.

“It is an electronic transfer and tracking system which will enable the coaching staff to assess and measure the fitness of our players using a modern fitness tracking system,’’ Chigoga said.

Pasuwa has helped Bullets win three consecutive Super League titles and their first-ever Airtel Top 8 Cup last season.

Bullets are at the summit of the log table with 41 points from 15 matches, 11 points above second-placed Blue Eagles.

Zim Sports Connect reports that the training had attracted other coaches such as Lizwe Sweswe, Herbert Maruwa, Dodwell Dhlakama, Genesis Mangombe, Johanisi Nhumwa, Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva, Alex Sigion and Caps United fitness trainer Thulani Munzambwa.

The online sports publication also reported that Zimbabwe Football Association officials, including Technical Director Wilson Mutekede, attended the workshop.
