Karonga businessman wins car in FDH promo
A Karonga-based businessman, Thokozani Sichali, on Wednesday emerged a winner of a Mazda Demio vehicle during the final draw of FDH Bank’s Kuyiphula- Win a Car promotion.
Sichali could not hide his joy when contacted after the draw.
“I am very happy. This is a wonderful gift the bank could offer,” he said.
FDH Bank conducted the promotion with online car trader, Be-Forward, which facilitated easy purchase of vehicles online.
FDH Bank’s Head of Personal and Business Banking, Kawawa Msapato, said the promotion has had a significant impact on the bank’s customer base.
He said the promotion saw 933 entries.
“The number of transactions has followed a lucrative upward progression. This gives us confidence that we are adding value to the population at large through convenient services,” said Msapato
Be Forward representative, Ben Dambolachepa, also spoke highly of the initiative which, he said, has seen a rise in number of vehicles purchased online.
