The long awaited show involving the country’s musician Dan Lufani and Nigeria’s star Kcee will be held on November 6, 2016 at Lilongwe Golf Club.
Dan Lu, who collaborated with Kcee in the song Sweet Banana which is currently enjoying airplay in most of the local radio stations, confirmed Sunday that all was set for the show.
“People have been waiting for this show for a longtime but everything is now set. The show is set for November 6, 2016 at Lilongwe Golf Club,” said the Part of Life hit maker.
The artist, said this was a chance for people to see Kcee performing live in the country.
“As usual I want to tell Malawians that we are serious with this show. We could have done it earlier but Kcee was busy and so we could not come up with the date. But all is well, now and I am happy and looking forward to this show,” he said.
Courtesy of his contract with Sisqo Productions, Dan Lu found himself travelling to Nigeria where he interacted with Kcee collaborating in the song Sweet Banana before having a collabo with another Nigerian star Flavour in the song 1+1.
Dan Lu has proved that he can be counted among the top artists in the country having managed to pull huge audiences during his Sweet Banana outings recently.
Dan Lu has taken up the initiative of working with several international artists which he said was the way to go to help propel African music.
Kcee born Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo on April 18, 1979, has since confirmed of the November show in a video.
“Mulibwanji Malawi, on November 6, 2016, I will be performing live in Malawi with your own boy Dan Lu,” Kcee said.
He added that people are in for a treat as he will perform his popular hits Pull Over, Limpopo and Reggae Blues.
The singer and songwriter said people should make sure they keep the date and never miss the show.
Kcee was formally in the hip hop duo group called Kc Presh and he currently has a record deal with Five Star Music.
He started working with Del B, a record producer known for producing Limpopo song.
