Award-winning R&B musician Kell Kay Thursday called on people to grace the launch of his second album Ndabwera Ndi Nkhani at Lilongwe Golf Club on Sunday.

The Lilongwe-based artist said he was 100 percent ready for the launch and that he was geared to make history.

“People should come and experience the best of this album. I want them to come and enjoy this album, which has taken me close to three years putting it together. I have enjoyed working on it and I am sure people will love it,” Kell Kay said.

Kell Kay also appealed to people to buy the album, which has 20 tracks.

Some of the tracks in the album include ‘Mukanabwera’, ‘One Day’, ‘Tender Love’, ‘Lobola’ and ‘Tabwera’.

The album will be out today ahead of the launch but will be available for purchase in all the platforms next week.

He maintained that the project has beautiful songs that have been well woven and that they tackle different issues including love.

Meanwhile, Kell Kay has said South African acts Mafikizolo and Zanda Zakuza will jet into the country tomorrow.

This will not be the first time for Mafikizolo, the duo of Theo and Nhlanhla, famous for songs such as ‘Khona’ to perform in the country while Zanda Zakuza—a house and kwaito artist, who has collaborated with Master KG in the hit ‘Skeleton Move’—will be starring for the first time.

The artists from the rainbow Nation have since promised nothing but the best during the concert.

Kell Kay said he opted for Mafikizolo because he has been a fan of the music group.

Mafikizolo and Zandiza Zakuza will share the stage with the country’s artists such as Gwamba, Phyzix, Charisma, Toast, Saint, Black Missionaries and Anthony Makondetsa, Great Angels Choir, Piksy, Macelba and Jay Jay Cee.

Kell Kay debuted with Love After 24 two years ago.
