Khuda Muyaba, Gastin Simkonda mend fences with RVG
By Mphatso Malidadi:

Silver Strikers hitman Khuda Muyaba has swallowed his pride and returned to the Malawi national football team setup alongside Moyale Barracks goal-poacher Gastin Simkonda.
Muyaba announced, through his Facebook page, that he had quit the Flames after getting dropped from the squad that competed at the Cosafa Castle Cup in South Africa, saying he was frustrated with being turned into a fringe player.
Simkonda did not report for the last Flames camp as he was reportedly injured, only to play and score for Moyale in a TNM Super League match against Dwangwa United.
Flames Team Manager, James Sangala, said Muyaba and Simkonda had reported for training in readiness for the Group B 2019 Africa Cup of Nations second leg qualifier against Comoros set for November 17.
“The training has started on an impressive note and all the players, including Khuda and Gastin, are part of the team. The only one who missed the morning session was Chiukepo Msowoya, who was attending to family issues,” Sangala said.

Sangala also said legendary striker Lawrence Waya was also in camp to help the team’s strikers master skills and tricks to help them end their goal drought.
“The presence of Waya is an inspiration on its own. It is our hope that the strikers will get inspiration from one of the best footballers Malawi has ever had,” he said.
The Flames senior squad and the under-23 side are training together this week, with Coach Ronny van Geneudgen insisting that the arrangement would help the two teams to share experiences.
The teams are expected to be split into two groups at the start of next week.
