Khuda Muyaba targets 20 league goals
Outspoken Silver Strikers hitman Khuda Muyaba is confident he can score 20 goals in TNM Super League this season.
Muyaba took his tally to 18 after scoring a hat-trick on Sunday when Silver beat Ntopwa FC 4-1 at the Silver Stadium.
With four games to go before the bankers wind up the 2019 season, the former Moyale Barracks striker has already surpassed last season’s top goal scorer Chiukepo Msowoya of Nyasa Big Bullets who scored sixteen goals.
Muyaba said he was happy to score goals and help his club to win matches.
“I gave myself a target of 20 goals. I know it will not be an easy task but I am ready for this challenge. I know will also break record because in recent times, there is no one who has gone beyond 20 goals,” he said.
Muyaba is chasing golden boot alongside Be Forward Wanderers striker Babatunde Adepoju and Bullets striker Hassan Kajoke who both have scored 14 goals.
