Khuda Muyaba wants to leave Polokwane City FC

Malawi National Football Team striker Khuda Muyaba is reportedly unhappy at Polokwane City FC and wants to quit the club.
The striker has not returned to Polokwane since he featured for the Flames against Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers in March this year.
However, Muyaba refused to comment on the matter Tuesday.
Sources close to the striker confirmed that he was still in Malawi.
“He does not want to play for Polokwane anymore. There are some issues that happened this season. There are some big teams interested in his services,’’ said the source who spoke on conditions of anonymity.
Muyaba has struggled for game time at Polokwane having scored two goals this season in four matches.
The striker managed to score 15 goals last season in South Africa, just one goal behind the Golden Boot award winner.
Polokwane officials were yet to respond as we went to press yesterday.
Sports analyst Parry Chinyama said if Muyaba was unhappy he should follow proper channels to solve the matter with Polokwane.
“If anything he should seek a loan move or terminate his contract with the club,’’ Chinyama said.
Muyaba moved to South Africa in January 2020 from Silver Strikers. At that time, he had won the Golden Boot award in the TNM Super League with 21 goals.
So far, no striker has managed to beat his record in domestic football for the past three seasons.
Before joining Silver, Muyaba was playing for military side Moyale Barracks. He, however, resigned as a soldier to force his move to the Central Bankers.
