Khuda Muyaba’s work permit out

Former Silver Strikers forward, Khuda Muyaba, is now set to make his debut for struggling South African Premier Soccer League side Polokwane City as his work permit is finally out.
According to Esau Kanyenda, who facilitated Muyaba’s switch from Silver Strikers to the Limpopo based side last month, the work permit was finalised on Tuesday.
Kanyenda said the 2019 TNM Super League golden boot award winner is now available for selection.
“Polokwane officials confirmed to me that Khuda’s work permit is finally out. I am optimistic that he will be in the squad for the team’s next assignment. I am wishing him all the best as he begins his career with Polokwane. He must prove that he is capable to help the team fight relegation,” Kanyenda said.
Muyaba said he was happy with the development.
“It feels great that I can finally play for my new club. The waiting was painful, especially that my compatriot Chembezi Denis’ permit did not take that long.
“It is the wish of every player to prove his worth to a new club. Once given a chance, I will do my best to help Polokwane win the relegation battle,” Muyaba said.
Chembezi’s permit was released a fortnight ago, allowing the Flames defender to make his debut in Polokwane’s 1-0 defeat to Baroka in the Nedbank Cup last week.
He was also in action when Polokwane beat Cape Town City 3-2 on Saturday in a league match.
Polokwane are on 15th position on the table with 20 points.
