Lake of Stars Fest releases full line-up

Organisers of Lake of Stars Festival, dubbed Lake of Stars Discovery, to be held at Kachere Kastle in Nkhata Bay this coming weekend have released a full line-up of artists on the menu.
The festival which last year celebrated its 15th anniversary, returns to its original home this year but at a different venue.
The festival’s original home is Chintheche Inn in Nkhata-Bay.
Lake of Stars Festival’s spokesperson and Head of Media, Zilanie Gondwe, said Sunday all was set for the festival and that people will have a best of experience.
“We are excited about the direction we are taking Lake of Stars this year. Our new discovery edition will offer a unique adventure for festival goers in an unparalleled, intimate setting. Lake of Stars has always been about more than the big names. It is about creating memories and share experiences,” Gondwe said.
The final line-up includes South African Music Awards (Sama) winning afro-soul star, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Hazel Mak, Sangie, rapper Praise Umali, The Very Best, George Kalukusha and Drew Moyo.
The organisers have teamed up with one of the continent’s brightest agencies, Black Major, for a showcase featuring the trio of DJ Lag, credited as the man responsible for putting Gqom on the international electronic map and producer of Beyonce’s The Gift, Moonchild Sanelly, Amanda Black, Faith Mussa, Erik Paliani, Piksy, Chipasula Project, Zaluso Arts, Q Malewezi, Amahoro Drummers, Annemarie Quinn, Krazy Colours, Malinga and Fitzgerald Simfukwe.
The others are Lazarus Chigwandali, Suffix, Ishan Cyapital, Kelvin Singz, Kings of the Night, Forus Crew, Jacaranda and Amahoro Drummers.
