Lazarus Chakwera appears in Parliament today


President Lazarus Chakwera is expected to appear before Parliament today to answer questions in relation to the State of the Nation Address (Sona) he delivered in the august House on February 3.
Speaker of Parliament Catherine Gotani Hara made the announcement at the end of deliberations on Monday.
Leader of the House Richard Chimwendo Banda told the House that, even after Chakwera’s appearance, members of Parliament would continue making contributions to the Sona.
The President is expected to arrive at Parliament Building at 9:15 in the morning.
During the campaign period, Chakwera promised to be appearing before Parliament to answer questions.
