Let the Games begin

The 2016 Olympic Games officially started in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Friday with the opening ceremony at the Maracana Stadium.

Athletes from 206 nations, including five from Malawi, and a refugee team are in Brazil to compete in 28 disciplines and be watched by a global audience of billions.

The Games will end on August 21.
