Lil Vince to drop debut EP

KAMWANA—I just decided to appreciate her works

Lilongwe- based artist Lil Vince is set to release his debut Extended Play (EP) titled Sometimes.

In readying for the release of the EP, the musician has said he would be dropping a single Friday.

The title of the single is ‘Doll Mabel’ whose brand is spearheaded by the Netherlands-based model Mabel Banda Khonje.

The artist, real name Vincent Kamwana, said the ‘Doll Mabel’ track, in which he features Lusaw, is a character praise that hails a lady.

“The song basically talks about a Malawian woman Doll Mabel. We have seen other international artists praising ladies in their songs. I also decided to do the same,” he said.

Kamwana said the idea to have the song produced by Mafuno came out because he wanted to appreciate the works of Khonje.

“About Doll Mabel, I just decided to appreciate her works through a song. She has done so much for the country in terms of propelling the creative industry. She has supported urban music and has also raised the bar for fashion,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kamwana has indicated that his song ‘Zofuna’, has received an overwhelming response from people.

He said that the seven-track Sometimes EP is ready and that it will be released on December 7 2021.

The artist has worked with several producers in his debut project and they include Jay Emm, D-Wine and Issah Bakali of Flamez Photograph Company.
