Lily Banda shines with ‘Africans Winter’ concert
Lily Banda just cannot stop getting out of the arts picture, the latest piece of evidence being the mini concert ‘African Winter’.
The artist said her latest creative product was available, and streaming, on her YouTube channel I amLilyBanda.
The development comes at a time the artist has come into the picture after making it to the list of change makers from Africa and the diaspora.
“What excites me these days is that, apart from producing my own works, and making contributions to the arts through, for example, ‘African Winter’, I am excited that Africans are connecting and sharing ideas,” Banda said.
Banda is not new to the creative industry as she played Aicha Konate in Season 2 of British Television Series Deep State.
She also played Annie Kamkwamba in Chiwetel Ejiofor’s movie The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind.
“I am happy that the youth are taking part in various projects to help build Africa,” Banda said.
She, however, acknowledged that there was work to be done.
“By the way, I have been recording music and people should expect new music from me during the festive season,” she said.
