Tigers coach Gerald Phiri, speaking to the media after the game, said they were still searching for solutions after a dismal performance in the second round.

“We are trying our best but we are failing to get the results we are looking for. Anyway this game is gone and we will look ahead to the next fixtures. Hopefully we will get it right. If we win three games we will move up the table. It hasn’t been easy but we will fight to the end,” he said.

Bullets top the table with 57 points from 24 games while Mafco, who defeated Civo 3-0 through a Richard Mbulu, hat-trick, lie second with 46 points from 25 games. Silver Strikers are third with 42 points from 26 games.
