Dwangwa United Coach, Lloyd Nkhwazi, has said his charges are ready to face Nyasa Big Bullets in Wednesday afternoon’s Fisd Challenge Cup preliminary round match at Chitowe Stadium, Dwangwa, in Nkhotakota.

Nkhwazi, who was released as Bullets coach last year, said he knows the People’s Team’s weak and strong areas.

“It will be a good game because my players are in top form. My plea is for good officiation so that a better team should carry the day. I have worked at Bullets and I know the team well. Their strength is in defence and they are vulnerable in midfield,” Nkhwazi said.

He added that his main focus is saving Dwangwa from relegation in the TNM Super League.

Dwangwa have re-discovered their form in the second-round of the league, having lost only once, drawn twice and won thrice in six games.

Wilson Magombo and Enock Likoswe are expected to lead the back-line for the hosts with Jack Chiona and Patrick Macheso engineering attacks from midfield.

Bullets Team Manager, James Chilapondwa, said it would be a difficult game.

“Dwangwa have been in remarkable form and are coming from a win in the league. But we are ready for them. We know how important this game is. This is a cup game whereby there are no favourites or underdogs,” Chilapondwa said.

Bullets will miss the services of injured goalkeeper Ernest Kakhobwe and defender Pilirani Zonda.

However, Bullets will bank their hope in exciting Mike Mkwate, Fischer Kondowe, Nelson Kangunje in midfield with Muhamad Sulumba and Chiukepo Msowoya ready to lead the onslaught.
