Multi-talented musician Lulu will on Sunday launch his seventh album titled One More Time at Lilongwe Golf Club.

The musician is expected to share the stage with other acts such as Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, Soldier Lucius Banda and his son Mr Zembani, Black Missionaries and Anthony Makondetsa, Piksy, Gwamba, Wendy Harawa, Nepman, Sam Smack and Temwah.

Lulu said Wednesday that Diamond Platnumz, who will be performing in Malawi for the second time, will jet into the country on Saturday ahead of the launch.

“I am ready for the launch and so is Diamond Platnumz and all the other acts on the lime-up. It has been hectic putting this launch together but God has been the light in all this and, so, I am calling upon people to come in large numbers,” he said.

Lulu described his music journey as a book and that through the chapters, he has been pushing things.

“I have been learning and trying out things and, so, I feel I am ready to go as I am trying to do better than yesterday,” the singer and guitarist said.

Now with One More Time recorded at Mathumela Studios in Lilongwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo with support from BFB, Lulu’s previous albums include Mbambande, Kumalembe, Sindilora, Ndakudziwa, Mwayenera and Better in Your Arms.

“This is an album that focuses on love and different other messages looking at what we go through in our day to day lives. I hope people will enjoy the songs just as I have enjoyed making them,” he said.

Ahead of the launch, the artist has been vibrant participating in different events and his recent outings include performing at Wendy Harawa’s album launch in Lilongwe and 2022 Blantyre Arts Festival (Baf).
