Lulu thanks God in album

Lulu grew up doing gospel music. No wonder, he has been able to put together a gospel album.

Real name Lawrence Khwitsa, the talented singer, guitarist and producer has since said he will distribute the album for free.

“Gospel is what I grew up with. Singing and selling music is my job and, this time, I just want the gospel messages to go far. The gospel album is meant to thank God for all the good things He gives us,” Lulu said.3

He said, to thank God, he will not be selling album but, rather, giving it for free.

The ‘N’zalera’ star said the album is titled Zaulere.

“People can burn songs and share because it’s gospel. The gospel has to reach all the corners of the world,” Lulu said.

The 10-track album will be released next month. Some of the songs in the collection are ‘Tipemphere’, ‘Mwaposa Onse’ and ‘Munthu’.

Lulu has dropped a single, ‘Machilitso’, off the album . In the song, Lulu has not run away from his style of singing as he has packaged the lyrics finely.

In the song, Lulu speaks volumes of the power of God, such that “He knows all our problems”.

The album was recorded at Mathumela Studio.
